Hi,

I cannot give you the exact answer without giving any information about your herb, please elaborate.

Thanks,

I have 4 window boxes I guess they are called with herbs in them they are finnally starting to look a little better but all I've done is just water them. Do herbs have a shelf life when you are growing them at home? Should I have tossed these over the winter months or is there a way to have fresh herbs growing all year long?

I was growing sage, chives, lavender and a couple of other herbs. But after moving them outside for the summer they are now pretty much compost. lol I did manage to get the chives to actually bloom which was very pretty and cool to see.

G'Day Raven,

You should consider this first, everything has it's own end...Winter is the most ideal season to start your indoor herb garden. Well, sage, chives, lavender, and basil are easy grown herbs. You can grown them in the windowsill, they just need a partial exposure to sunlight, just make sure a waters them regularly.
